Turn left at the second cross street onto PA-3/ E Market Street. Turn right onto Providence Road, stay on this road, and then turn left to merge onto US-1 N toward Springfield. Follow US-1 N and take the exit toward PA-320 and continue onto Media Byp. Turn right at W Sproul Road and take a left onto W Woodland Ave. You'll pass by a Citizens Bank on your right before turning onto Baltimore Pike. The area now known as West Chester was originally called Turk's Head after the inn of the same name, located in the middle of the borough. West Chester has been the seat of government since 1768 when it was moved from nearby Chester in what was previously named Delaware County. Walter, who was one of the designers who worked on the Capitol building in Washington D.C.
